The name of my blog; Turks fruit means Turkish delight in Dutch. It was also the name of the most popular Dutch movie ever, directed in the 70ties by Paul Verhoeven after the Novel by Jan Wolkers. 3,500,000 people saw the film, corresponding to about 27% of the Dutch population at that time!!
The story is about a Dutch sculptor that who has a stormy and erotic romance with a beautiful young girl. The movie is told in flashback from the perspective of the head caracter.
I won't go too much in detail as you just have to see it for yourself.
So if your in the mood to see a Dutch old fashioned soft porn movie with a storyline I would definitely recommend Turks fruit!!
